I've always denied God and the Bible, yet my life is better than most christians that I've ever met. My wife and i are undyingly in love, our lifes are blessed with money, yet we cherish little things in life and take nothing for granted. I am totally content and happy inside and I always give to charity and have wonderful morals. I'm living proof that you dont need god in your life since he is made up.

yes i agree. Ive been married 20 years, have 4 great kids(1 in the navy so far), we have our health, money is tight but we have every thing we need. we did not need a god. if you look at the reasons why most of the wars started you will find a god behind it. wow that makes me think god is the wrong person to believe in

I have too wondered this from time to time and I was raised a Christian. It seems as if you make your own luck when you work hard for things. Everything you need to succeed in life is around you, you just have to reach for it a little harder if you really wanted bad enough. But who placed everything in this world for us, there is no scientific explanation for all the wonder full things that surround us. How do you explain how dirt is made, or how intelligent our anatomy is. Maybe it's not the God we all think he is according to the bible but I am convinced there is a greater divine force out there who created all. And the one thing that makes the most sense or even comes close to leaving an understatement of our existence is the bible. Millions, billions of people around the world can not be wrong about feeling God in their lives. He does exist but we can only feel him through our faith. Life is not fair that is for sure but if he gave everyone what we wanted there would be no point to life, life would not be interesting. People would not love with intensity. All the good morals and loving behavior is picked up from the bible. Jesus Died admitting his love for God and you deny he even exists. Think about it my friend and may God keep blessing you.

God is wonderful and He loves us all, even when we choose to reject Him. He can turn the blessings on and He can turn them off as well. You say you are happy, however, would you still be just as happy if God took everything back He gave you.
There is a scripture that says: "Pride goeth before a fall."
Thank God for His blessings on your life.
I also am wealthy, I choose to give God the glory and continue to enjoy His blessings in my life. The difference between you and I is... God could take back all He has given me and I would still be happy and filled with joy, simply because I know Him.
Your happiness is tied to material things which perish.
Where will your happiness be, God forbid, you lose your possessions. I suppose if that were to happen, you would blame God. You take credit for the good and blame God for the bad.
Such is Pride.

Isaiah 28:15...
We have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place.

GOD is merciful! HE causes the sun to shine on the just and the unjust. Your day will come so enjoy it while you can because eternity lasts MUCH longer than this short life.
One question; since you have decided to comment on GOD yet you say HE is made up... will your next question be about santa clause or leprechauns or maybe unicorns?

Proverbs 14;12....There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

And your question is? You have the choice to believe or not believe...Just because your life is better than a lot of people, so you say, doesn't mean you don't need God... The devil is quite the manipulator and a great tease...All of us need God... Don't be fooled by what you choose to believe is true...God Bless

Well, Jesus did say that "riches profit not on the day of wrath". That is to say that, no matter how well off you have it in this world, you can't take it with you. On judgment day God will judge us in Righteousness. His standard is his Holy Moral Law, the 10 commandments. How many of us can say that we have never lied or stolen, or used God's name in vain, etc.. The truth is, if we don't have Christ, we will be found guilt on Judgment Day, and the punishment is eternity in Hell. God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell, thats why Jesus suffered and died on the cross. He took our punishment for us. And all we gotta do in responce is to repent of our sins, that is to ask for forgiveness and not do those sins again, and to put our faith and trust in Christ. Much like you would put your faith in a parachute. Its not believe in the parachute that saves you when you jump from a plane, but its actually putting it on that does. and thats what the bible says that we should do with Jesus, we are to put him on, and trust him like we would that parachute.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Romans 2:4 Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? (5) But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed. (6) He will render to each one according to his works: (7) to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; (8) but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.

You haven't bothered to look for any evidence of God in the bible.
