No, It will definitely sound better.

As long as the subs' impedance are not lower than what the amp can handle, it will sound great.

You are doubling the cone area and will have to make the proper adjustments to your amp, but that amp will perform much more efficiently by adding that extra sub.

Go for it. The difference should be night & day.

Have you considered Dynamat? Just a thought. It Helps a lot.

The Type X is a dual 4 Ohm sub, so it can be wired in series to 8 Ohms so adding a second sub is safe to do. It will sound good but you can also through a lot more power into them with a second amp and wiring them separately.

if the amp is 1 ohm stable (doubt it is), then 2 could be wired in 1 ohm, so it wouldnt sound as good, but would put down some serious power.

no its will not sound bad just make sure u bridge ur speaker wires it will birng out more of ur Bass..
