I don't drink coffee, tea, or cappicionos (excuse the spelling), so "getting a up of coffee" is out of the question. If there was girl I didn't know well but I wanted to ask her on a laid-back date, what would be the best way to go about it to make her most comfortable (like, not doing anything to "deep" or wierd lol).

Hmm not sure if I explained that correctly, but any tips are welcome :-)

Disclaimer: I am in Seattle, WA. USA What might be acceptable here,"in the land of the Liberals", may not be acceptable everywhere. Use what will work for you and discard the rest.

First date is the toughest for sure! Since coffee is out, have you considered museums or art galleries? It is pretty easy to say, "I am planning on going to the Museum this Saturday, but I really do not want to go alone. Would you like to meet me there and we can wander around for a while." (Or what ever the equivalent would be for your culture.)

Other decent first dates for me would be:

Walk around the lake.
Volunteer day at the park.
Shopping at the Market(like a huge market....here in Seattle we have 180 shops in one place...The Pike Place Market.)
Exploring antique shops.
Day at the dog park. (I love dogs but I do not have one of my own.- I prey on dogs at the park to get my fluffy fix!)

Be creative, but think....public place....fun or interesting...maybe both....low stress....low expectations (no golf, tennis, or other completive sports unless you both play well or at least both support the same team.)

Very good luck to you!
