There's this guy at my gym, he's actuaaly a trainer there, and my problem, is the fact that I don't know if he's flirting with me or not.For instance, around christmas, he came up to me and asked me how my holidays and I told him it was okay, then he asked me, who did I spend it with. And then there was another occasion where he came up to me and told me I looked sad, and wanted to see me smile, and as I was leaving asked me when will I be back.I'm thinking , well maybe he's just being friendly, but he's always telling me to text message him for trainer sessions, and i told him several times, I'm a broke *** college student, and I cannot afford them, but then he's still asking me to told me to call him on his cell phone for a free session, and he told me not to worry about it...and so i told him I would let him know but he will text me, and tell me that he wants to hook me up, and money is no problem, so I booked the free session, but my question is why is he being so pushy

First of all: do you like this guy? You sound as if you're at least somewhat intrigued. Second: do you really WANT the private trainer sessions? If not, I suggest you simply say "No, thank you" and leave it at that. If you are interested in dating him, be honest and tell him you'd rather meet him for coffee, and not as a client. That way, if his interest in you is purely professional, at least you'll know.

On the other hand, if you're not sure, and you DO want the free trainer session (and taking for granted that you've already checked to find out if he is reputable), just go for it and see what develops from there.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but gym trainers are often the biggest flirts/dogs out there. You may be a broke college student now but you will eventually be a money making, paying customer. My friend is a trainer too and he says it's all part of the game. You bring a friend too because you find him charming and want her opinion and then he's got two clients, and on and on it goes. Basically, most are the equivalent to the used car salesman. They are there to sell a product - them! How do you sell to women - flirt! If he was interested, he would have asked you out on a proper date. Enjoy the free session, take what you can get from it, and move on. I'm sorry to be so cynical, but you seem too nice to get played!

If interested in him, and he in you, then he is NOT being pushy. If he is merely the friendly type he is NOT being pushy.
If he wants your money, then he is being PUSHY, or if he is a cad out for a fling, he is being pushy.
I would ask him and find out. In today's world, ladies have the right to stand up for themselves.
He will respect you more no matter what the outcome!

Sounds like he really really likes you, or he's a big flirt. He's getting the idea that you don't like him, and wants you to just say to leave you alone if thats what you want!!
