No, she should not be in heat this soon. They usually come in about 4-5 months after whelping a litter, altho I have seen one come in as earlt as 3 mo later, and as late as 8 mo later.

A female dog will have a season about 2 times a year normally at about 6 month intervals. So her next heat season should be about six months from the last one she had even if she's had a litter of puppies during that time.

Ok he knows whats up he smells her but hes a dog they do that and believe me she will not want him around that area for a long time. She will only put up with so much from him, she wont hurt him but she has her ways to tell him to back off.And he understands. Now iknow how this all works. They go into heat every 5-6 months. My Molly is a dachshund she had her babies in June2 06 she went in heat beginning of Nov. she wants nothing to do with him till shes pretty much done with her girly thing, then watch out she wants it too. So she let him have it on Nov 21 06 and her babies were born Monday 22. We are proud grandparents of 2 boys and 2 girls. Gorgeous puppies.

Your male may be sniffing her due to a urinary tract infection. It's common. If it continues have a vet check done. Your Labrador Retriever should come back into season when the pups are 16 weeks old. Or, I should say, that is the normal time frame. To avoid seasons and unwanted litters have her spayed. Now would be a good time between seasons.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUN1D
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

She could very well be. They go into heat roughly every 6 months. until you know for sure that she isnt in heat, separate them. Having another litter this quickly could ruin her.

if i've got been you i could get the female fixed, in case you fix the male that looks after him yet what approximately the different adult males that would desire to get to her, they are in a position to scent her from a rather solid distance and could attempt something to get to her, solid success
