Take a benadryl or other antihistamine. For topical relief, try hydrocortisone or calamine lotion. They're generally an allergic reaction.

I have gotten hives since I had my daughter. There is no Rhyme or reason why they come, although they say it is brought on my stress. I use Calamine lotion to "cool" it off. Also take an antihistimine like Benedryl to calm the itch. It does make you drowsey, so make sure you get the kind that won't knock you out. There is also a cream they can give you at the doctors, It is a steroid cream, and it is pretty strong, and it may bleach your skin a bit. I feel for you...go to webmd.com for more info..Hope you feel better soon.

Either something like Benedryl or something with an antihistimine in it. Or...something like Relacore(OTC)...it is to relax you. Are you in a situation that is making you really nervous? Can you get out or away from it?
I wish you the best of luck...I know how miserable they are. I had them in my mouth and in my eyes!

You can use an antihistamine cream in conjunction with an oral antihistamine such as Benedryl.

My daughter gets them when she is around hay, lots of cats, and things like that. She takes benedryl, maybe 1.5 tsp, and it stops it.
