Let the girl get over the shock of whatever it is. Confessions are telling the truth because you no longer feel the need to hide anything and that is great. Buy her some flowers and ask her if she still loves you. Take care Heather

Just be patient. If she has never been in a relationship before, you should feel special. Take comfort in knowing that when she does tell you she loves you, you will know that she means it since she DIDN'T say it back to you right away. That is the best feeling in the world!

What you can really do is get to know her and listen to what she said and as you get to know her better and learn how she reacts now you can find the answer to how you should deal with it, but be sure to really get to know her and have an open mind, there is a chance like there mite not be one, Just get to know how she really is and paid really close attention and the answer will come to you. Tell her that you would like to have a relationship with her. Tell her the niceties of being in a relationship, like getting personal attention and compliments, and having someone to take her to dinner and to the movies. Ask her if she would like to try it--if she's hesitant, you could try just a casual date or two. If she decides that she doesn't want to continue dating, at least you tried.

she may be feeling a little scared right now and probably wants to think things through.. so give her time and show that you still love and care for her.. if you two are close, and you've showed her that you love her, she's most likely feeling the same way..but it depends on the relationship you two have no with each other.. just be patient for now, because that is one way of showing your love.. well....you let her know that you are not pressuring her to do anything she dont want to do ..... let her know that you are not expecting anything from her...
tell her that you really just wanted to let her know because you're tired of hiding your feelings.....and that after telling her the truth that hopefully she would feel the same way...
but again make sure you dont act like you waiting for an answer right away...that she can wat she wants to do...
and if she does tell you she doesnt feel the same..swalllow your pride..and let her know that you respect her answer and that you dont mind just being friends/staying friends.....
sometimes when a girl feel like you are very understanding guy and the you are respectful ...she might change her mind the next day and tell you her new feelings for you....
but if not......then be happy that its out of your chest now...now that she knows...so when she;s ready you'll be there...
its bettter than keeping your feelings inside you and always wondering "what ifs"

Say your piece, but try not to excess about it. and hopefully if they love you back it will work out, or atleast stay on good terms, if not maybe it wasnt ment to go that direction anyhow. most things happen for a reason, even if you dont see thereason always

It seems that she's in shock. She probably never have thought you would like her. Let it ride, don't do anything out of ordinary. Be who you are and don't let her think anything will change if she rejects you. Lot easier said then done.
