Since returning from Viet Nam in May of 67, I was stationed on 4 ships, did 3 stateside tours on shore, spent 13 months in Antarctica, did 2 overseas duty tours with my family, visited 29 other countries did a 12 month unaccompanied tour on the flag ship for the middle east forces, did a 6 month Indian ocean cruise and a 6 month Mediterranean cruise on an air craft carrier(then retired upon returning stateside). After retiring I held jobs lasting 3 months, 9 months, 6 weeks (bored outta my skull), 7 years, 5 months and presently this job has been for 13 1/2 years doing logistics for foreign navies. Because of my job(s) I've been to 5 states (2 more than once) and 2 countries. I've gotten married and raised 2 boys, got an associates degree, become a Sunday school teacher (since 1989) for 3rd thru 6th grade (presently 3rd/4th), joined a group that has sung internationally and locally. Presently I am a member of a group of vets/non-vets, bikers/non-bikers (see www.patriotguard.org). Yup, been pretty busy and productive since then. Not all the 'homeless' guys you see wearing a fatigue jacket with patches are vets. Anyone can buy a fatigue jacket with patches. Many Viet Nam vets have lived a good and productive life since returning, regardless what the INBRED MORONIC media want you to believe.
