does anyone know of a place for my Thai wife to get driving lessons in Chiang Mai - -

I'm not sure if this is a reputable one but I saw its ad in "MEDIA" Thai classidfied paper of Dec. 2005 issue. The driving school according to the ad is located near Ratchapat College in Chiang Mai and the name is Khun Noi Driving School. The cost starts at 800 bahts and will pick up and return the student for free only in the city. The phone number is 01-0227754, 053-357161. I'm not sure if they speak English but I guess you can have your wife call them. Just to let you know, I don't personally know this place. But I recalled seeing the ad in the paper which I still have with me. If you have a chance to visit Chiang Mai, I'm sure you can go to the Chiang Mai post office and pick up this type of classified paper there and have your wife look through it. Perhaps, you can find a classified ad for driving school in it.
