if you are short can you still have long hair?

I am wondering this because i was looking at a picture of nicole richie and shes like 5'1 and very petite which is what I am,and she has long hair...i think it looks good but a lot of times I hear people say that longer hair on a person like that is too overpowering...like you need the height to pull it off....and i dont mean really long hair,about to the top of your chest,like this pic:http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i107/xjsbellamias13/nicole_richie_shopping_pcn.jpg

okay so a lot of you are saying it doesnt have to do with height but with the facial features and shape and that kind of stuff.So what type of face or whatever do you need to have then?

oh my yes and most younger ladies in school are very popular with there lovely fur cote as i refer to there hair grow it long and keep it healthy stylist here

Height has nothing to do with it. Many petite women look GORgeous with shoulder length hair or longer? I think it depends on the frame/shape of the face,and the way it is styled.

some styles are not the most flattering.

ex. Yoko Ono in the sixties with John Lennon. Even though that was the style back then, it was so overpowering for her face.

If a lady is excptionally strong searching, short hair is fantastic and could make her stand out even extra. If adult males are completely warm, bypass for the lengthy hair. when you're the different widely used ninety 9%, bypass with custom. and women over 35, once you've received various weight do not butch your hair so short. all of us recognize its "easer" yet provide your husband some thing to seem at!!

Pulling off long hair has nothing to do with height. It's all in the face- certain face shapes look better with long hair and others look better with short hair.

well, i knew this girl in highschool who was no more than 5 feet, and her hair was probably about 4 ft long. She looked pretty hot. I guess some people like the pixi look and some like longer hair, depends on whether you want to look cute or more classic or something. If you grow it long you could always cut it, so try it.

I like long hair on any body type; shorter, taller, rounder, thinner. I think long hair is prettier and sexier than short hair. Bangs with long hair, layered long hair, wavy, and my favorite -a center part with long hair are all great. I think men like long hair better than short hair. But I do think hair longer than your belt line is not too practical, but OK if it's braided.
I can't tell you times I've heard men say, 'Don't cut your hair.'
This is just my opinion, but I just like long hair.

Really depends on ur face shape and ur body shape in general. but i think u can play it off but Nicole didn't look that good on the first one the 2nd pic is more 4 her

Of course you can! I am not quite 5' 1" and I have hair down to my rear. I get compliments all the time. So wear long hair. Be yourself! You'll be glad you did!

I personally like the hair style in pic 1, think it looks sexy and make a short person look taller.

I think both hairstyles look very good on her. If you are short you should not have it too long, I think a couple inches past your shoulders is good, it depends on your facial features as well.
