I didn't know the Bible could talk. Does yours have one of those strings on it with a round loop on the end that you pull and all the animals on Noah's Ark spin around? Just wondering...

There are two dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible. The "Behemoth" in (Job 40:15-24) and the "Leviathan" in (Job 41:1-34). Many who deny the accuracy of the Bible will often say these were just large animals, and not Dinosaurs. However, if you read the scriptures it may provide more understanding.

It's important to remember, that the Bible was written to teach man about God's Law, and how we are to live, and be saved.

Thus, certain topics were not given priority. I'm sure there are many animals who were not mentioned that we will never know existed, unless we make it to Heaven. For instance, there is a rare type of prehistoric shark that currently lives so deep under the water, the only time scientists have seen it, is after it dies or is close to death, and floats to shallow waters. I think it's called a Frilled Shark. I believe one was caught recently, and it died immediately afterwards.

Google "frill shark video" to take a look. When Jesus returns, he tells us we will have all the answers to these questions and more. If we only knew how many things exist now, that we've never seen, we'd be shocked. Scientists discover previously UNKNOWN flowers, animals, galaxies, etc as the years go on.

Blessings, Miji

Well 1st of all there wasn't really any proof of Dinos when the bible was first written, but it has chenged over the years many times to satisfy people need, wants, desires, and is somewhat of a brainwashing technique...If you wanna knowmore about the bible Research Judaism first since Christianity is indeed a Sect of that religion and the first part of the bible (the old testiment) Is the first s books of the "torah" which is the Hebrews sacred texts.

The dino issue is a frequent question here in this forum. The word "dinosaur" is a modern invention created in the early 1800's. The bible does refer to them only using different words. "Leviathan" and "Behemoth" and "Dragons" are the words the bible uses. Check out the book of Job in the bible, I believe the 38th or 39th chapter. It even gives a description of a behemoth and sounds very much like a dinosaur.
God bless.

The dinosaurs, as you already know, existed 65+ million years before us. The words that everyone else mentioned which are in the bible such as leviathan and behemoth are not necessarily the dinosaurs. It's an inferred notion which could very well be in error.

The word `dinosaur` is modern, from the 1800s. The Bible does talk about Behemoth. (Job 40)

The Bible is God's plan for man's salvation. What role do dinosaurs have in His plan? None. Hence, they are given only a passing mention in Job 40: 15-24

I believe it does. If you read the description of 2 creatures, called behemoth and leviathan, which were apparently alive during the time of Job, I don't know how you could conclude they are describing anything other than a creature which we today would refer to as a dinosaur.

Why should it? The Bible doesn't mention penguins I believe, but I certainly know they exist. The Bible doesn't have to say something exists in order for it to exist.
