It does. The word dinosaur was invented in the 1860's; the King James Bible was translated into English in 1611, so it couldn't use a word that wasn't invented yet. They used the word dragon.

In my opinion, most of the dinosaur fossils have been found in north and south America, and it is really dry over there. desert remember? so there would not have been any plants or trees for the herbivores to feed from therefore no carnasaurs would be there either. But they did mention dragons in the bible,so that could have been an airborne type dinosaur!!but yeah they were mentioned just called something else!! (dragons)

Much as the same reason it never talks about, fossils of any kind, evolution, the planetary system, Galaxy's and the list goes on and on. The bible was written before all these items were discovered but the biggest load of manure I have ever heard was when a Christian told me that Satan planted dinosaur bones in order to confuse us. Talk about your back peddling. If the church is going to continue to lie to us, at least make your story a little more plausible.

It doesn't talk about China or number theory either, but that doesn't make it false. The point of the Bible is twofold, Gods plan of salvation and Christian living. I do believe the Bible does in Job 40:15-24. Remember the Bible doesn't contain all truth but all the truth about God He wants us to know. You will not find a proof for the #0 in it but then its not a math text.

Because the word "dinosaur" was invented (i.e., "coined") in 1840 or 1841.

But the Bible does mention behemoth, leviathan, and tanniyn -- all of which could be descripitons of inosaurs or other large creatures now probably extinct.

The same reason alligators, beavers, bears, insects, and all other kinds of animals were not talked about.
They were not important.

In Genesis 1,2,3, do you think God would stop talking about how the world was made and how humans became corrupt to talk about a reptile?

And the Bible might have, there are numerous references to the Leviathan. (a very large powerful [probably water] unknown animal).

The Bible is a serious book. The books about dinosaurs are classified under another Dewey decimel.

Because the people who wrote the Bible didn't know that dinosaurs had existed. They also didn't know that the earth isn't flat. Whoops!

Should it? Adame and Eve were created long after Dinosaurs existed. There was no need to go into those kind of details. Not like we can deal with our own issues, what makes us think we could handle that? Besides people being as they are would begin worshiping these long ago beings etc.....

God does not make mistakes.
