This guy asked me over the other day, sounded want a one night stand but i didn't feel ready. I didn't go and he becomes so cool towards me since then that it hurts.

Bit of a contradiction here, he asked you over ... no harm there if he likes you. you don't have to have sex if you don't want to, you could have had a coffee & a chat if that was what you wanted.
By not going he may get the impression you don't like him much & he just giving you a bit of space
The real question here is why does that hurt you?
What is it that you want?
Do you have feelings for him? How well do you know him ( or want to know him)
why are you dissappointed with his actions?
Decide for yourself ... do you want to get close to this guy or not?
Then tell him ... funny but you could have if you had gone.
I hope you get your feelings sorted out a bit

now it is obvious what he wants from you, right?
so if you are not ready then if he is a really nice guy then he should respect you..
how come it hurts you? what if you ended up going to his place, feeling not ready..then what would you feel? even worse than this i guess..
get over it.. he is not worth your time..

Don't care about him. Cause if you don't want a one night stand then you should not do it and nobody has the right to tell you what to do with your life.

Trust your instincts. Dont let him get to you he wont be the first guy who didnt get what he want and got mad about it. Guys are like children treat them as so and you will get along better

If he can't handle the rejection of you knocking him back for what was, apparently, just sex, then he wasn't worth your time in the first place.
