I moved around and I think I misplaced it. I don't want to waste time and do it by snail mail. I found my last years W-2. Is my AGI on there? I don't want to mess up and delay my return because I put in the wrong info.

Thanks!

If you can't find it, there should be a box to say you don't have it. In that case, you can STILL file electronically, except you'll have to print out and sign a 8453 form and mail only that form in to the IRS. Again, you are still filing the rest of your return electronically and will still receive your refund on time. All you'll have to mail is the signed 8453. The software will tell you where to mail it.

Good luck!

Your AGI is not on your W-2.

In rare instances, when the ONLY income you have is one W-2, you have no interest or anything else and you have no adjustments to income, the W-2 amount will equal your AGI. But this is the exception and not the rule.
