I slept with 2 guys (I was single gimme a break) I got preg & was sure who the dad was. When the baby was born everyone said that he has his dad's head (block shaped) His face was definitely the spitting image of MY dad, besides his mouth. His mouth is just like the father I assumed was. Even other people would say it on their own, without me mentioning it to them. My son's grandma (alleged father's mom) took an at-home DNA test and he's not the dad. I dont get it! That mouth HAS to be his! The upper lip rests over the bottom lip & the funny thing is that the OTHER guy who I did NOT think is the father has the exact opposite kind of mouth.even before I got preg I noticed that his bottom lip was bigger, almost as if he had an under bite the teeth I told my mom what happened & she said that it was really odd that I have a child that looks like so-and-so but it's not his. Do you think there'a a chance that the at home test was wrong? Maybe done wrong? Any experiences w/ wrong dna results?

You need to have a REAL DNA test soon! You need to know and your child needs to know, for health and mental reasons. It can really mess a kid up if he learns later that the man he's been calling dad, isn't his dad.

I would just go and have a lab do a test. It would be relatively easy to corrupt an at-home DNA test. Besides, a court will not recognize it so they will order another one anyway. Go to the child support office and get the paperwork started and they will help you get an order. They are NOT your attorneys and will not be "on your side", they just want to make sure that all children have the support they deserve and need.
Despite what you want, or what you think the baby looks like, when the DNA comes back from the court, you will know that it is accurate.
Best wishes

First I would get a lab to do a DNA test. I don't know how good the home ones are. Second, if he isn't the dad you need to contact the one who is. Every child should have a dad in his or her life. Sometimes babies look a certain way and as they get older their features change. We also like certain types of men and they may have had some of the same features.

Get a proper DNA test. The way the baby looks has nothing to do with it especially at such a young age as their features change a hell of a lot as they are older.
Get the test done for the benfit of your child and its father as they both deserve the right to know.

If it's an at home test, and you tested his mother, then yeah... that's not conclusive enough for me.

Call up Maury Povich (kidding)... get a real DNA test, with both the men's DNA... You all deserve to know the truth.

YES!!!! YES!!!! and NO.
The only way to be sure is to have a place do the test. If you don't have the money & are low income the state should help you with the cost. Child support in you state might help you out. They do in Colorado.
Good luck.

She is probably lying to you because she doesn't want her son to have to pay child support. Or this "at home DNA test" is bunk. Have a REAL one done ASAP.

If you believe there is such a thing as a at home DNA test you should give that baby up for adoption

Lets see we have DNA in one corner, and a group of people using visual clues to determine heredity on the other.
And your asking if the DNA test might be inaccurate?

Wow, um OK.

chalk it up to my theory - you look like the people you are menat to be near. that is why people who have been married for a long time start to look alike and adopted children start to look a bit like their parents!

for you, i would ask for a test that you can be sure of the results! his mom could be lying!
