I am new to United States. I have a masters degree in Computer Aided Structural Engineering. I am planning to write EIT exam in october 2007. I have gone through NCEES website and found some sample exams and stuff.

I want to find some online resources focussing towards this exam and also any sample exams if they are on the internet. Also are there any recommended books for EIT exam?

If there are any discussion groups, I would be very happy to know. Any structural engineer specific job sites?

Basically anything would help. Any EIT completed candidate's experiences, do's and dont's would also be helpful.

Thanks,

Polly

Thanks for replying. But it would be very helpful if you could point me some links to the material geared towards EIT.

The EIT covers everything from math, chemistry, physics, statics, beam theory, thermodynamics, electrical circuits for starters.

There are a host of training texts. Best get busy, this is the hardest test you will ever take.

some universities extremely grant EIT and FE exam preparation classes. try contacting the colleges round you. an selection selection is to refer to the calculus and physics instructors and ask them in case you could audit or only take a seat of their instructions with no desire a grade and for that reason, no longer having to pay for the instructions. some colleges have an noticeably small auditing value.
