how old do i have to be to get driver license?and how old i have to be to get a permit??

In California it is 15 1/2 to get a permit, and 16 to get a license.

In most states to get a permit, it's 14..to get a license it's 16..though some states have recently changed that.. some 16 year olds still have to have an adult driver in the car until they are 18...
