it could be a bladder infection which can be resolved with antibiotics, but it can also be bladder stones and kidney infection among others....you need to do a urine culture and analysis

Get to the veterinarian was excellent advice. The dog is probably in a lot of pain, and the sooner he gets treated, the less damage will be done. He could have a bladder infection, or kidney problems. But I'm not a vet! Off to the Vet!!

Most likely its a UTI, but it could also be from an enlarged prostate. Does the dog seem to strain when having a bowl movement? If so, prostate is more likely. But only way to know is the vet, and either way the dog will need medicine.
Ok, not sure if a boy or girl. Only males have prostate problems......

It could be a UTI (infection). How old is the dog, what is the sex, is it neutered/spayed. Other things that could cause blood in the urine are crystals, tumors and if it is a female in heat, the blood may make the urine look bloody.

A UTI/Bladder infection (yes its common for dogs to get them if they have to hold there urine) She needs to take him to the Vet or a 24hr Vet hosiptal. It could be a number of things and a uti was just one of the many things it could be.
