Heat expands, cold contracts. You can minimize the pores by keeping your skin refreshed after working out. Use a mild moisturizer so your pores don't get the message that your skin is dry, and over compensates by sending more natural oils to the surface, which can enlarge the pores. You can only shrink them temporarily, but not ever permanently. Using pore-tightening astringents really helps. And you can use mattifying moisturizers that really keep them under control. So read the labels, and look for pore-reduction or oil-reduction on the products. Clay-based face masks and clay face cleansers help a lot too. As does oil-free foundations and shine-free face powders. Use products for oily skins as all of those control pore size.

Hot water makes them bigger so splash you face with hot/warm water and wash it then rinse it in hot water then splash cold water on it a couple of times
