if you have cancer and may not live pass 10 years, can you still buy life insurance?

not usually but there might be a very few exceptions, especially if you were to buy a policy with very limited benefits or stipulations as to cause of death. You would pay through the nose for this type policy. Your best bet is to get life insurance through your employer because they usually don't have medical prequalification or ask health questions for company life insurance.

If you can find a company that will waive pre-existing conditions, you can--but I don't know of any, offhand. Maybe through work. Many companies have great health and life benefits through insurance companies that waive pre-existing conditions on large group policies. Worst case, you may need to get hired by such a company.

It sounds like you may have cancer, or a member of your family, so I'm including the following just in case that's so.

In 1990, I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 3-B, but I've survived. During the year in treatment, I started learning about alternative medicine.

Our bodies have 60 trillion--yes, trillion--cells, and there are always some mutating into cancer cells, but a healthy immune system kills them before they have a chance to get a foothold in the body.
It takes a LONG time, usually, or an exrtaordinary amount of stressors, to degrade the immune system to the point where it won't do its job, but once cancer has formed, it can spread rapidly.

I know of people whose cancer has 'spontaneously remitted' (WENT AWAY for no known reason) after they went on a program of herbs and nutrition.
