Take her to the vet. The list of possibilities is endless but I would first off worry about feline leukemia. The vet will probably start out testing her for the leukemia and feline aids (not transmissible to humans).

Good luck, I'll send good thoughts your way!

Take her to a vet. If you know the lady that gave her to you, go back to her and ask which vet she took the cat to for shots, then check with that vet. Unfortunately, people will tell you anything to "unload" a litter of kittens. When the cat got her shots, the vet handed the lady paperwork. There has got to be a paper trail. If you do find out she lied, report her. But, in the meantime, get the cat to the vet because something is wrong.

My cat had a problem like that...she has hyperthyroidism and had to be put on medication. Of course she was 23 at that time..but hyperthyroidism can strike at any age...if she's eating and losing weight that could be the case..but you have to take her to the vet to get blood work done. If she does have hyperthyroidism..they will prescribe medication. Now...of course giving your cat a pill for the rest of her life is never fun..but the medication for this they can also make into a cream which you rub on her ears and it absorbs thru the skin..you have to wear finger cots when you do this since you don't want this on yourself since it's meant to slow down your thyroid..and well..no one in their right mind wants that. But defiantely get her checked out and mention this to the vet so he's sure to check for this. And get the cream rub on meds instead of a pill..so much easier for both you and her.

Your cat is definitely very sick....it sounds like she is losing control of her back legs also...this is serious and needs IMMEDIATE vet attention. Please get your kitty to the vet now or she may die. She's given you so many warning signs, and if it's been a week you've already left it way too long. Behaviour like that that goes on for more than a day needs vet attention.
PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING & GET HER TO THE VET NOW!
Please follow all this good advice and take her to the vet & update us & I'm sure there are others that are also worried.

Animals extra often than no longer are quite gentle to the non secular components around us, and its humorous what you have reported because of the fact cats are the main so! So i say; confident, certainly they are tapping into something unusual, and that i reckon they experience there is something slightly "off" of their ecosystem. possibly lighting fixtures some white sage contained in the rooms that are the main important concerns... additionally you will possibly be able to desire to get a psychic to return and do a clearing - this might deliver all non secular entities off to the place they must be. I surprisingly grant you with a warning to keep away from occult gadgets right now. And if something is attempt harm, administration or manage something/one on your place call a clergyman, a spiritualist church or a psychic. maximum suitable success with your pussycats and ghost customer! xxx

Sounds like your cat is going into acute renal failure secondary to diabetes. Many times when cats begin to walk around the "bends" of their hind legs, their sugar is extremely high and it causes their muscles to weaken and they depend more on the whole leg instead of walking on their pads. You really need to have the cat assessed. You could get some urine dip sticks and test the urine or you can get a "human glucometer" and check her blood sugar. Their blood sugar should be between 70-170. She really needs to be hydrated or maybe even force fed. Cats can only tolorate going without food for a couple of days and they will begin to develop "fatty liver disease." This is extremely dangerous and many times lethal. It can be turned around if you are aggressive.
Best of luck to you. I hope that this has helped.

I honestly get frustrated that people take the time to go on the internet and post in a forum and sit and wait for answers when they have a sick pet or one with an obvious ailment(broken paw, etc) at home that needs care. Please dont sit and wait for 30 people to tell you to take your kitty to the vet. Call and get her in asap. My kitty became sick within HOURS and almost died. Thank god I took her to the vet and he saved her life. If I would have waited for posts on a forum from unqualified strangers I would have watched her die.
Please take your kitty to the vet. That is you responsibility as a pet owner. I couldnt sleep knowing my kitty was sick and I wasnt doing all I could to cure her

EMERGENCY VET, NOW!

Unexplained weight changes are always a vet visit, as are changes in personality (like the meowing). Letting it go a week is too long, especially with the hair falling out.

Not moving is a real danger sign.
Funny walking sounds like she is near collapse -- PLEASE, GO NOW!

She needs to be looked at by a vet....if her hair is falling out in clumps, something is seriously wrong. It's good that she is still eating, so get her in as fast as you can.
