Pop doesn't cause diaper rash. The baby needed more diaper changes and better skin care. I found Bag Balm for sore teats on a cow worked the best and short periods diaper-less to air out the area really worked.Have a great year. Use what works for you.Dads do what they know.

A baby should never be given pop to start with. Rashes can appear anytime for just about any reason. My oldest would get a rash in 20 minuets if I used huggie diapers....and my youngest would get one in an hour if she wore luvs...don't ask me why, they just happened to be sensitive to those diapers...You can get this stuff called PINKSAV at any drugstore (they keep it behind the counter at the pharmacy) they used it at the children's hospital in Ohio that my friend (a nurse) used to work at it will take care of any rash in a heart beat!! Good luck.

For one, a baby should not be drinking pop. That is very bad for kids. Actually, it's bad for everyone but especially bad for an infants digestive system. Secondly, if diapers are not changed regulargly diaper rash will be a consistent problem. The brand of diaper may need to be changed, as some of them contain scents that sensitive skin can't handle.

The answer is yes it is common especially if the baby is teething.
The father needs to go to parenting classes if he is giving a baby any kind of soda or soft drink as we call it where I come from.
Inform the mother to go to the pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist as there any number of products on the market to get rid of dipper rash, and combine it with fresh air and the sun.

Pop to a baby is the most stupid thing Ive ever heard. That said something like strep rash can come out overnight. That would need a prescription.

You need to change your baby more often, if possible soonest he/she is done with his/hers business, but you should really try not to give pop to a baby it is not healthy they could develop another sickness that could be worst.
