Those who think jealousy is a natural (or even healthy) part of relationships are totally mistaken. The guy is seeking attention from you in all the wrong ways - it's a cheap way of feeling good about one's self. I once dated a guy who was a jealous individual (I didn't discover that fact until later) and so to even the score a bit he would sabotage our relationship by doing some of the same things you're talking about. It's not that I thought he would act upon it, or even be successful if he did, but that wasn't the point. The point is, it got so bad that my self esteem dropped and my trust levels with him did as well. In short, a great bf is someone who makes you feel like the only girl in the room. Clearly he missed that lesson in INTRO TO GETTING AND KEEPING A GIRLFRIEND 101.

Tell your friend how it makes you feel. If shes all that great, she'll understand and tell the loser she's not interested.

You obviously need to grow up alittle. He's your EX for crying out loud. Get over it and move on, he apparently has.
