Laugh at every opportunity. Be honest, but be kind. Share the work. Dance. Sing. Cook together, eat together and do the dishes together. Make the kids go to bed at a decent hour. and love your Spouse with all of your heart. Listen carefully with your heart.Know your kid's friends, know their names, so that when they talk to you about them, they know you're paying attention to them. Be a happy parent and spouse, even when you don't feel like it.

Quality time together- meals, family vacations where you actually see each other (we're a big camping family), mutual respect, and fun and love!
I adore my family, and I think the fact that we all respect each other is the most important factor. And I think that stems from having gotten to know each other really well, in our non-cable, non-Disney vacation environment.
