Right now i have braids (zillions) and I want to take them out tomorrow. I've been told not to get it permed just yet, but I cant have it undone. So would a press & curl be okay? Or what might you all suggest?

i dont know what a press and curl is but definitly dont get it permed, it fries your hair

your friends are right do not get your hair permed give it 2 weeks rest, then perm if you like , for right now a wash deep condition (cholesterol is good) and blow out , try a curly style like 2 strand twist (curly because you finger comb them out ) or if you must a press and curl this would also be a good time for a trim to get rid of dead ends, hope this helps

go with the press and curl. when i was growing out my relaxer, this is what i got and it looks cute. go to the salon once every one or two weeks to keep up the look until you decide if you wnat to get a relaxer.

She probably told you that to give your hair a break. You could wear a wig that best suits your style for a little while.
