I was with a guy for about 5 months and we hardly got to spend time together cause of work...well we decided to call it quits...well its been 3 months and i got a surprise message frum him saying he wanted to see what was up cause he was thinking about me...so now he wants to come chill...Is he doing this cause he wants some bootie???

Of course, he wants some bootie girl. You know if you get a chance I tell all women to watch the nature channel about the lions and deer and such. It is basically the same. Men like to hoard women, but civilization trains us not too. Course, some men aren't civilized. When a man breaks up with a woman, in a sense it is still his "territory." That is why guys may stalk you later or get pissed off if you are with another guy, even though that guy is married or has 5 gf's on the side.
Your ex is just looking or is lookie for some nookie. If you want to give it up. Go ahead. Also he could be married and think about you now and then. Nature of the beast.

No...well I dont think so.... I dont know if hes the "player type" or whatever so that might be the case. But he could just have realized what he lost. He saw that his life was better with you in it. That could be it. but he could just want some bootie. no one can really answer this but you. Watch how he is acting when u see eachother and if hes acting like a total "player" then u know he wants bootie and maybe a lil more! [: you know what I mean. But if he acts like he really missed u and really cares about you and really wants u back because his life sucks with out u in it then I think he really does want u back. It's really up to u.

probably and guys go slow as they really dont like to be tied down unless of course their struck hard with love.. did i say love? yup.. love will keep them so........ i guess he wasnt in love so i would say he is lonely and perhaps you 2 could go slow.. dont suffocate each other .. u asked why guys call after the break up do you have others as well who do this if u do perhaps they know u give in and give if not then maybe its just him.. not ready .. be safe i mean safe and go slow ..i might add in the 3 months even as a friend he could say hi or merry xmas or happy new yr or some casual niceness. perhaps he is 2 people???

purely tell him the undeniable fact that u think of he doesnt want an entire blown relationship and u dont opt to easily be informal with a guy which you have dated. maybe that he will end callin u cuz top now he think of that he had opportunities to get u back yet whilst u advised him like that, he will comprehend the reality . solid success :)

yup pretty much..my ex used to do that to me too..its up to you if you want to be used..if you don't then don't answer him anymore..if he really liked you he wouldn't have stopped wanting to see you just because of work
