Actions speak louder than words, and respect is earned not deserved.
You can prove yourself in time with your actions. The key is time. It will not happen over night.
I do give you credit for wanting to right your wrongs and that is the first step. Work hard and they will see it. A parent ALWAYS wants to help their child.

Bring your books home and study study study... put school first in your life... and when you have a question ask them to help you.. as long as you do your very best then that will make your parents happy... All they really want for you is the best... life is hard and with out a good education your life will suck... so the grades and actions you take now in school will determine the college or technical school you will attend or if you will go to a college or technical school... if they didn't love you they would not of gotten mad about what happen in school... they would have just ignored it.. So your parents do care how you do in school... and do not argue about what happen just tell them that you are sorry and you are going to do better... but to do better you will need their support and help... then you listen to what they have to tell you.... because your parents do know best... good luck...

easy, go to them in a calm manner and tell them you see where you have been wrong and youreally need their help to lead you back into the right direction. By saying that will show so much maturity on your part.
