long straight silky hair attract me more, look more ladylike
but do like some gals with short hairs. It brings out the liveliness.
Either way, have a hairstyle that more suitable for yourself. ie. slim & tall will look better with long hair and vice versa. But do remember the shape and features of your face are very important factors to decide what kind of hairstyle too.
By the way, if you got long hair, you can be creative like tie up the hair, or add in hair band or clips, to make yourself look better too.

Well.. from a girl..
A lot of guys like hair they can play with. But no guy wants to play with nasty, unhealthy hair. Long hair can be a very hard thing to keep looking healthy (especially if you have fine hair).
Honestly, anything CAN be sexy. You just have to make it sexy. Look at Hallie Berry- Drop dead gorgeous and super short hair. Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta had to shave her head, and she looked absolutely adorable.
I keep my hair in between chin and shoulder length because it's easy to maintain, I can style it a lot of different ways (sexy, sophisticated, cute, etc.), and it is still in the level of "playable".

most men like long hair.
it goes back to the caveman days when they could just club us over the head and drag us back to their caves for whatever they desired. Some men are weak and afraid of a woman in power and want to control her!!!

If you're going for more of a 'sexy' and 'beautiful' look, then I think that long hair is the way to go. All though, if you want more of 'cute' and 'sweet' look, then I think that your best option is short hair. It all depends on what sort of image you want to set of yourself.

i'm a girl, but from what i've heard and know- most men like long hair but not tooooo long. diffrent men will have diffrent likings, so do what you want to do and you'll find someone who will like the same thing as you do. wear a cute headband and a smile and trust me- you'll look great.

I once saw a woman in a mall who had long red flowing hair all the way down below her waist. It was one of the sexiest things I had ever seen.
