my veterinarian says a cat is a 5 to 1 ratio-as does 3 of my veterinarian authored books on cats. So 1 cat year, if it has lived 12 years=50 of our human 12 years. My Bambi lived to be 18 human years- so she was 90 but had been a house cat and hardly ever ill and well loved and taken care of.

A cat's age multiplies by ability of capacity of seven each and every human 365 days meaning a 2 365 days previous cat might desire to be approximately 14 years previous in cat years. save your cat enjoyed and healthy with a make particular as lots because of the fact the vet each and every now and your cat could be helpful to stay an prolonged happy existence (15-2 many years previous human years). desire I helped :)

There really isn't an easy conversion, even for the dogs.Animals mature much faster than humans at first (a month old cat can already walk), and then it slows down. The average however is 5 human years for every cat year.

The chart at the vet's office shows that cats and dogs age differently, and that it depends on their size and weight. Sorry, I don't remember the numbers. Also, it isn't 1 to 7, they age at different rates.
