I'm looking to buy my teenage son a car for his 16th birthday. I'm looking to get him a newer modeled car, but not a 2007 model. He wants an SUV, but neither him or I are too cure about which one to get. Could someone tell us some things we need to know. Any suggestions about which car we should consider. He's a very popular and stylish person so you might want to keep that in mind. Any information you may have, please just leave an answer. Thank You!

Ford Explorer Limited or Eddie Bauer edition

You can find a used Lincoln Aviator (maybe an 04 or 05 model), or Lincoln Navigator if you got big SUV.

Get him a Lada Niva, that should make him a bit less cocky and down to earth. Is he intending on going camping or towing a heavy trailer or boat? Why not start out with a sedan which won't tax the environment or your pocket nearly as much? Toyota have a fantastic range of small comfortable sedans and wagons you might consider.

please please do not buy him a car newer then a '98. Knowing guys they will treat it like crap! Buy him a car that he will like. I say an old bronco? Dodge Ram? Or a Dodge Dakota. Don't bother on spending the cash on a new car. It will probably just get a lot of dents and lose it's value quick!

Jeep has a new Compass that's really nice. I also like the Wrangler Unlimited. The H3 is nice too!
