i have been with my boyfriend for 4 yrs. we never have sex, last time was a few months ago!, we live together, i just dont want to have sex with him. i love him but think its a dependant thing , like i need him . i am not comfortable with my body maybe thats why i never want it? he loves my body but its a self confidence thing. he try's to get intimate with me and i just push him away!. just dont want it. why??? im 20 yrs old i should be shagging loads!!!

Maybe the two of you have become too comfortable with each other.... like you said, it has become a dependant thing.
Have a heart-to-heart with him.... and if things dont change then maybe you have to accept it is over and move on so you can find someone to bring more excitement into your life..
You are only 20yrs!! You have a lifetime ahead of you to date different guys and have fun.

Hiya know what you mean i`m only 24 and was with my bf for 6 years and we have a 4 year old son but like you i love him but don`t think it was in the right way,he left me and our son 3 weeks ago and i`m heartbroken as we`d only been back together 5 months but again like you i think it`s just that i was used to him and i`m afraid of being alone,our sex life also dwindled and i`m not confident about my body either and that was alot to do with it.
It hurts like mad though when i think about him being with someone else and doing the things we should have been doing but there`s no point in being in a relationship thats dead at our ages and in a way i actually respect my ex for walking away but it does still hurt as i`m now left as a single mum whilst he`s out partying.
I suppose you could maybe suggest a break up for a while and see how you both feel after that,if it hurts like mad then your still in love with him but if it doesn`t then you`ve made the right choice,goodluck in whatever you do and be thankful you don`t have kids together as that just makes things 10 times harder and complicated.xx

Yes you should! Maybe you just don't fancy him anymore.(That is the excuse he will give when he cheats on you some time in the near future,if you get get your act together and either end the relationship or fulfil it!!!!!)

you need to get your self esteem back up hun.... too had that problem and it killed my relationship....but i do know how you feel...when your not in the mood there's nothing that can change your mind....i suggest that you talk to him about it and tell him how you feel about yourself...maybe things will get better if you get things out in the open...good luck

Tell him that trust me it will help you sooo much. You have been with him for 4 years then he will understand. Tell him how you feel about yourself and how you feel around him and how you feel when you have sex and all that stuff.

Maybe your just not emotionally ready for it, talk to him and explain to him your not ready. If he really loves you it wouldn't matter.
