Its the name of the Clan you are in!!!

It could be several things, ie Clan Donald, Clan Macrae
or
If you play online games its the name of the group you play with, and you get a tag to put infornt of your nickname.

I think its a name that holds others to it,ie i think i have this right but if i am wrong i am sorry. The name Clambell was the clan name of the Mcathers.Its a name you rally under.

It kind of depends are you talking about Native American, European or something else. Basically though it means what is the name of a group of people who share common anscestor but dont have to have the same last name. I'm tring to find my N.Am. clan names but I'm having trouble.
