I've used long-term parking at three Amtrak stations in NY State.
Each required a five dollar token for any stay longer than 24 hours, but ya couldn't exceed 14 days. A five bucks tab for, say, one week, is a lot better than eight dollars per day at the airport.

If you are an Amtrak customer ask them, shouldn't be a problem, if you are just parking there because it's free, you might get away with it for a day or two, but I am sure they will catch up to you and ask you to move it or if they can't get to you . $$$$$ Towing company.

It depends on the station. Ours here in town has free parking, but others charge. If you're leaving your car for a short time, it would be OK, but for an extended time, I wouldn't do it.
