I heard that passport is now required to travel even domestically. Is it true? What to do if I don't have one? I will certainly obtain it, however, need to fly out tomorrow... Will drivers lisence do?

If you're talking about traveling domestically in the US, you do not need a passport. Passports are now required for travelers flying to and from Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. A photo ID is what you need. Your driver's license will be fine....

Nope, you do not need a passport to travel domestically. But it would serve as your ID in case you need it. Since you don't have one yet, make sure you bring enough IDs for your travel like driver's license, school or company ID.
