is limewire really BAD for your computer,..ive heard its bad but does it really screw it up? because itunes is SO expensive?! PLEASE HElp!!!!

nope..limewire is one if not the best p2p software. just make sure you only use it to download music and videos and not software. limewire is safe for as long as you know how to use it. i've been using limewire for more than a year now and i never had problems with it.

Limewire don't screw up nobodies computer, its the users who screw up their own computer.
Users use limewire as a lame excuse to their stupidity.

The only bad thing that limewire did that was bad was that it screwed up my sound system.

itunes, is free. hope you got it for free from apple and no limewire is not bad as long as you dont download anything that may be runed such as exe com jar bat vbs rar zip. make sure the version you use is above 4.8.1.

Limewire itself is safe, but you can easily download viruses from it.

well.... you could get some bad things for your unit from limewire if you are not carefull... its ok though if you are really cautious...
I don't use it cause im only using a pentium 2...
slows my unit down.

LIMEWIRE is full of viruses...it's free and convenient but it most likely will ruin your comp. I just got rid of mine yesterday.

I've used it to download a bunch of stuff over the past 6 months and I've never have a problem with it.
