I suggest that your parents take your sister for a hearing
test....and not with a Peditrician-- she should see an
Audiologist--or Pediatric Audiologist. The reason I am
suggesting this is that small children mimic language. If
your sister still talks baby-talk, she is either hearing your
voices muffled, or she has some speech impediment--
maybe the skin under her tongue is too tight, or something
about the way she forms her words is out of balance.
My grandson never spoke even at age 4 and the Pediatricians said he was just late in speaking. Come to
find out-he was deaf. He is now 15 and from using
hearing aids, his speech is perfect. Everyone thought he
was retarded and the only problem was, he couldn't hear.

relax, you have eighteen years to worry about how underdeveloped she might become.
