took $4000 out of the 20/40 game at the mirage and the biggest hand was $1700. playing 20/40 omaha in gulfport GRAND casino.to answer the second part ,"RICH" is relative ,Chris Moneymaker (his real name) entered a $40 dollar online tournament and parlayed that into a seat at the WSOP (world series of poker) and won over 2 million bucks -so if 2 mil is rich then YES you can!

I won't share my winning money (results), but I play poker for a living so, yes you can win good money with poker....That answer your second question a little bit I guess.

very few people get rich from any sort of gambling...anyway i havent won much but, my cousin did, he won 124,000 dollars on carribean stud where he had a royal flush and won that off a 40 dollar bet...because the odds were like 2,900 to 1, plus there was a side pot bet which added to the odds, he has the check framed in his new house..at caesars palace in atlantic city is where he won..
