What a easy Q! The basic's, long strids with a good pace. I am a amzaing runner I made my strids longer and gout fom 9 minutes to 7 & a half mintues. Also it takes a lot of good practice on breathing. I almost for got when you run use your arms it helps as well. I learn from my CC coach to pick your pcket peick your nose which means your arms should be going to your pocket and then to your nose. That is all I learn and I am twice as fast then I was a year ago.

Good form is usually very helpful because you are not expending energy and it enables forward motion. Also, hardwork and muscles. Not being overly muscular that is, but muscle tone will add to your strength and athletic capabilities. Do lots of sprints, hit the weight room, and lift the knees high staying on the balls of your feet - arms swinging back and forth (not side to side). Good luck. - Former Track and Field athlete.

Short and Simple: Long strides and stay on ur toes, so its lighter quicker steps.Keep an eye on the finish line and dont look to the side or try and behind you.

*I dont know why, but when i look down at me feet while running, it kind of motivates me and i think makes me run faster.
