It's unlikely. No matter what the disease, there will be a few people that are resistant to it.

The best culprit would be something that was airborne or easily passed on, highly infectious, with a short time between infection and death, and a high death rate. It would almost certainly have to be viral, as bacteria are easier to identify and kill.

Ebola, or something similar, is the most likely candidate. Too many people survive smallpox for it to wipe us all out, AIDS is too difficult to transmit (compared to something like the flu), but Ebola might be able to, if it was introduced to a large number of people i a short amount of time.

I would say that it's extremely improbable, but not impossible. Who knows if we'll stir something up while cutting down some rain forest, or if all the global climate changes could increase the possibility of a mutation.

HIV AIDS,could possibly wipe out the human race. its already attacking people. and everyday somebody in the world dies from it. i just pray to god i never get it!!!!!

The Bubonic Plague almost wiped out all of Europe..... so yes, it is very possible.

Yes every single one of them, if they don't have a cure for it. For example HIV.
