It was a boston terrior, I'm assuming it had hemorroids because there is something hanging out of its butt. I'm considering adopting it, does anyone know what it could be? And if it is fixable?

that could be very serious. You should insist on it getting checked out by a Vet ASAP. It could be wet tail, which can be lethal and is very contagious among other dogs and animals. It should be quarantined until it's diagnosed.

could the thing hanging out of it's butt be a turd? if not, you should do the best thing you can if you can. i you can maybe ask a vet. if it can be removed, and ask for how much it would be and see if you have enough money to fix it if possible. and i feel bad for that doggie.

sure it was out of his backside and not his testicles?? ask them at the pound of any problems with him, then research, contact a vet; having a dog is a big responsibility; make sure that you can do right by the animal

It is common-it is called rectal prolapse. Usually from diarhea or poor nutrition. It can be fixed, but it takes a long time.

not hemorrhoids,,, ask the shelter if you may take the dog to your vet for a consultation... i am sure they will let you.... that way you can find out if anything can be done before you take the dog home

Do you think it might be his anal glands? If it is his anal glands, that is not a big deal. Some dogs need help getting those things emptied --especially small breed dogs.
