Two things... maybe you could have a high pitched kind of alarm. Some hearing impaired can actually hear it. Research though... Secondly, it could have a really bright light, like when the sun comes through your window. Something like that may work. You'd have to try it though, of course.

A small line to connect to your toe that vibrates like your cell phone and the clock blinks the lighted time on the walls and ceiling.I guess you could train your dog or cat to wake you up when they hear the alarm.
You have a good thought going, keep with it because I believe we should all help those who are less fortunate than us.Good Luck

like it was said above, alarm clocks for the hearing impaired exist, but by all means, improve on it.....that's the fun in invention. if you want to get a closer look at one of these....most large, high end hotels will have them because they must make accomidations for their impaired guests....equal access and all.
What might be sharp would be a bluetooth-type pendant, watch, or pillow that will vibrate...all working from a stationary clock on the table.

Hmm, that's a tough one. I would suggest making the alarm clock very very bright so the person can immediately wake up since making it with sound won't make any difference. Another way is to make an alarm clock attached with those plastic hands so that when it is time to get up, it taps the person.

Create a vibrating pad that you can stick beneath a person's sheets. When the alarm goes off, the pad will vibrate and wake the person up.

I believe something that vibrates would work well. Like, you stick a vibrating part under the pillow and it vibrates their head. they, of course, get annoyed by it and wake up. Something along those lines I beleive would work.

Light worked best for us. Get a bright light and a timer. Cats work too. Just feed them first thing in the morning and they'll make sure you get up to feed them everyday..

Audible is out, Lights won't work...cause your asleep and your eyes are closed. It would have to vibrate so you could feel it. Maybe a vibrating pillow.

They already exist. I believe they vibrate the bed to wake the person.
