always keep that shape? Do you just get out of the shower, brush your hair, and than let it air dry and it stays like this:?http://www.yolandanet.com/perm.htm
Would I look good with one? http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/glamorous39/

Well first, you dont' brush spirals. You have to pick them, and it takes a long time to go through even short hair!

Second, Spirals are a total pain to keep up with. You have special shampoo's you need to use, to keep the shape, to not be so frizzy and dry.

Third, you might look cute with spirals. You have the right bone structure, you could pull it off. Not everyone can, even those with natural spirals. You should get loose spirals, instead of the tight ones. The loose spirals are a little easier to take care of, then the tight ones. Loose ones, are easier to pick through, and you don't have to have the special shampoo. You just need a shampoo that won't weigh your hair down, and that's made for curly hair. Tight curls, take longer to pick through, you need a special tyope of shampoo, which can get expensive after while, and very tiring!
You need to use things like moose, and gel to keep them in check.

You can ask a hair dresser for better advice and tips on keeping them up. Like all perms, they will go flat, how flat and how quickly depends on how well you take care of your hair.

And remember. If you don't like the way you look with it, wash it out before the 48 hours is up! LOL Just remember, if you do, you're washing away your money as well!!

Well, you do not brush your hair when you have a perm, to make it last you have to use a hair pick when you get out of the shower and use a towel to scrunch it then apply a light hair product. If done correctly, should last up to 6 months depending on the length of your hair.

Honestly, i dont think you should get one. Your hair is kind of short and thick and if you got a perm it would spring up and out and wouldnt look too great, but thats just my opinion! Straight hair is in style right now so i would recommend just a fun stylish cut thats easy to maintain. You may even want to get our hair thinned out a lttle bit. Perms are also really bad for your hair and I think you would regret doing it!

You don't brush it! Use a pick ~ This keeps its 'bounce'.....also you can blow-dry, but you'll need some mousse or gel afterwards. Don't pull or tug at the curls too much, this will defeat the purpose of getting a spiral perm! :o)

it depends on what kind of perm you get.. you can get loose curls or tight curls. i recommend the tighter curls, because i once got loose curls and it didn't do much to my hair. i will never get a perm again, because it really dried my hair out really bad and it didn't seem as healthy as it was before the perm. go to a salon and talk to a hairstylist about getting a perm and see what they say would be best for your hair texture.

I would not get one.
it only looks good for about two weeks and requires a wet curl set, to get that look.
