I love this person right here who's asked this question.
Thank you.
I know exactly what you're talking about. These are some serious times, huh? This generation of youth are so backwards if you ask me, and I say that loud and proud even though I am a member of it. The whole improper grammar issue bugs the hell out of me too!
There ARE some of us young women left with integrity, but I tell you, we are few and far between.

I couldn't agree more. Most of the people on this website can't even construct a sentence. And it seems as if every other question is, "How do I get a boyfriend?"
Nobody NEEDS a boyfriend/girlfriend...it just happens when you least expect it.
I'm a 21-year-old college student and I try to make education my first priority. If I find a nice man along the way, then super, but I'm not going to put my education on hold just to look for one.
Like I said, it happens when it's meant to happen.

This question is going to make a lot of people very defensive, though I am sure that you already know this. Many girls feel like having a boyfriend is the most important thing because they read magazines that are obsessed about either sex or how to get a boyfriend or why you don't have one. They are also surrounded by stories about celebrities and their relationships. So if they are single they think something is wrong with them. I have always had things more important to me than a boyfriend though, and I actually think this is true of most girls. Seeking a boyfriend is not at all at the top of my list.... It's a bad generalization to make that all girls feel like that.

Why? This is very obvious! These young women suffer from low-self esteem, curiosity, weight problems and not the greatest family backgrounds, etc.. These young people need to have someone to love them other than the unconditional love that the parents or family give them because they are discontented. Its just like when you were a teen-some people focused on education, while others wanted to have fun while it lasted. Young people need growth in their lives. They have to burn to learn, thats why they come on here complaining about problems. Eventually they will get the hint (leaning on others does not make you a well rounded individual)...

Having a boyfriend is great but I can take care of myself. I hope to become a professional dancer and no boy is gonna come in the way of my dreams. Boys might put a bandaid over the cut but until you heal, you need that person. I buy my own bandaids... ;)

We girls need a boy friend simply for one reason and one reason Only.
Some are just heart less jerk and some just want to be popular cuz they got one. Others need more then family to love them and some just need time with a boy if there choice. But the thing I'm trying to say is were girls, boyz are just part of are life that happens to be really important.

Yes, absolutely. My degree and my subsequent career will always be prioritized over boyfriends. In fact, finding a boyfriend is a non-issue for me. It would just distract me from my ambitions. (I'm 17, by the way.)

hmmm...well the ones that are interested in that education are the ones you want to date...but if they arent interested...well be friends with them and someday they will be ready...Intelligence is like a top three quality for me...I love to talk and thankfully my girl can keep up with me for hours at a time and be funny, intelligent and thoughtful...if she were like a lot of the girls I see on here I wouldnt have talked to her for five minutes...
