I dont' see why not, but I'm sure this is a question you'd have to ask the people in charge of the military base. Do they not have the answer on one of the military websites? It would seem like a common question that would be asked and not have an answer somewhere...

Reading over some of the answers...I'm sure it depends on the size/temperment of the dog as well as on the base itself. Just like everything else I'm sure there are different rules for different places.

I was married to a career Army soldier who retired with 30 years of military experience. We were able to have animals at every military base we lived on. Good luck to you where ever you live and God Bless you!

if this is a husky or malamute, you mustn't have too lots concern, yet whilst this is a factor wolf, it won't in any respect be allowed on base. additionally, remember that no longer all housing accepts canine, or maybe pets, and you purely qualify according to paygrade and BR entitlement, no longer on whether or no longer you have pets. additionally, foreign places quarentine regs can selection from u . s . a . to u . s . a . besides. utilising BAH to stay off base normally isn't a large concern, in spite of the undeniable fact that looking a apartment property that accepts canine might desire to be. Plus you will be able to discover which you would be paying out of pocket for puppy expenditures, deposits and so on.

most base housing allows pets, so depending on where you are going and as long as its not apartments (like okinawa) then you should be able to take your dog.
