My brother just came home with an old pc it is a compaq im gonna say its about a 98 but not sure it has windows 98 and also windows NT the windows NT is asking for a password it wont even let me get to the dest top it needs this pass to start up i guess it already has the user name and the domain typed in please any suggestion on how to break this code or start up without it

try enter "guest" in username. no password needed. hopefully, the administrator activated the guest account in windows nt. BUt if it didn't work, sorry, you have to reformat the thing.

Use "Disk Manager" or "Disk Manager Magic" Utility Software to erase a Windows NT Partision from your disk. But remember, when you will use it, the complete hard disk will be erased. You have to re-install the softwares & applications again.
