There was Mr. Right, square in my face, and I hurt his feelings by saying something that was mean AND untrue. I don't understand why I did it. I've never done anything like that before. He expressed interest before, but now he's gone. I've apologized in writing, but he hasn't responded. I feel so pathetic and although it's been 3 months, I'm still not over it. Please, anybody, is all hope lost? What should I do?

go look for him and talk to him, because even though what you said it was untrue, when yoiu get angry the subconciense talks instead of your brain and what you say is actually part of what you feel.

I think you need to confront him face to face and explain to him that what you said was totally unfair and wrong to say. If he still doesn't do anything, maybe it's time to move on. It may be hard (trust me) but in the end you'll realize that if he's not going to forgive you, he never really was Mr. Right. I hope I helped!

Writing him a letter showed good intentions on your part but what you need to do is talk to him face to face. You can always try going to his house and talking to him there.

try to get him alone and have a good talk with him. tell him you are truly sorry and your actions were wrong. there is only so much apologizing you can do, if he doesn't want to listen then you must let him go and move on.
