Dryer sheets work GREAT on hair...just like clothes.
And you smell great.

Don't use lotion, it will make it so greasy and oily...Try putting a little mousse in it before you dry it, and dry it most of the way on a hot setting, and then just before it is all the way dry, use the cool setting on the dryer to finish the last little bit...that smothes it out. If it is still staticy try a little aerosol hairspray, just a tiny spray to tame it a little...not enough to plaster it down!!...And keep your hands out of it...the more you mess with it, the worse it gets throughout the day!

wow... dont put the lotion directly into your hair! Hahaha... yes that does help. After lotioning your hands or body, rub your fingers through you hair... starting at the ends and avioding the roots, because the lotion could cause your roots to look dirty. But yes! Its probably the best way to avoid static.

no! don't put lotion on your hair. it's for hands. carry a baggie of laundry dryer sheets. when your hair gets static, rub the sheet over your hair. it takes the static out of your clothes, why not your hair? and it will make your hair smell good too!

Try rubbing a bounce or a generic dryer sheet on your hair and see if that calms your hair down. Additionally, if you do not use a conditioner on your hair, try one. That can help it as well. Hope either one or both suggestions help. Good luck!

Try the static sling dryer sheets. It might seem weird, but they work if you take one and just run it over your hair.

You can try washing it every day for 2 weeks, and then it should be fine.Even so,continue to put water in your hair every morning before you brush it.

You could try putting hairspray on it or straightening it with a straightening iron.
