you dont need to list of scripture verses just explain what the word means . i dont know . i mean i assume it means respected but is that correct in one book of theology there was many pages on this one word and i got lost . so please keep it basic.

Hallowed means Holy- set apart.

The best way I know to describe the word hallowed is simply to say that the name of the Lord is 'holy'.

Hallowed by thy name..means 'holy is thy name'...which means the Lord's name is holly and you are not allowed to swear or curse using His name cause its holly.
