sounds like SCIATICA to me. it is a nerve that has been compressed, pulled or irritated either by your muscle or a sudden movement. If it hurts a lot, take pain relievers like diclofenac 50 mg 3x daily along with SIRDALUD 1 tablet 3x daily also for 3 days. see if there is relief. good luck. if none, have it x-rayed, you might have a tear in your femur, but i hope not.

I'm sorry to hear it! How does movement or pressure tie in with the level of pain? Muscle or nerve torn? Without more specifics all I could suggest is "ICE" (immobilize, cold, elevate). Or see urgent care if it couldn't be related to a strain or some other activity-caused damage.
Seriously, if it is a sharp pain without an apparent cause, get checked out. The last thing you need is a blood clot w/ pressure building, right?

The only person who can diagnose you is a doctor, after taking your history and doing at least an exam, if not also running tests. There is no substitute.

You could have anything from a pulled muscle to a blood clot. I would go see your doctor if it hurts so much that you can't put any weight on your leg.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it, possibly a pulled muscle? You should try a heating pad, they usually work well in dealing with muscle pain.

It "may" be your sciatic nerve. I would suggest you see a chiropractor.
