Hi shanna. i know it may be hard to lose ur sister but at some point you two need to live ur own lives especially if it's a step up for ur sister. i'm sure she wouldn't be moving away if it weren't neccesary. it may be hard for the kids but 2hrs isn't that far away. when i was 19 i moved 5 1/2 hrs away from my identical twin sister for the first time and well we spoke on the phone all the time. you can also email if you both have pc's. anyway i now live in ohio and she's in Phila. PA. and well we speak to each other and although she didn't want me to leave she understands i need to do what's best for me and my family. as for the kids they are resilient and will make new friends and they can talk on the phone and maybe you can go visit when they get settled. you can alternate visits. i hope i've helped you. best wishes.

2 hours away is really not that bad - I mean it could be worse like being several states apart. You all may not see each other as often as your used to, but surely you will still be able to see other.

Tell your children that they should be excited because their cousins have moved into a new house and get them worked up about seeing the new place.

Two hours away is not so far any more with good roads and good vehicles. Tell your kids the truth; that you won't see each other quite as often but you will still stay close by phone, e-mails and frequent visits.
